It's always great to go down to the National Corvette Homecoming in Bowling Green, KY, and this year it was even better.  It was held at the Univ. of Kentucky's Expo Ag Center, and the accommodations were superb.

Here's the auction arena.  There were more cars for
auction by the time the auction was about ready to
start.

Corvette Assembly Plant Manager Wil Cooksey brought
his top lieutenants to discuss how the '06 Vette compares
with the competition.  It kicks the competition's butt.
This was only one of the seminars held.

SACC member George Williams had the honor of having his
superb '61 selected by a celebrity judge.  The car show
had lots and lots of entries

The Nash's #254 '53 was selected by the judges.
This car is in primo shape, a beauty to behold.

We lined up for the parade
across the street at the Weyerhauser
parking lot.  As you can see, a
semi trailer mover wanted to join
the parade.  Reason overcame
desire as he decided to drop out
of the parade.  The parade went
downtown, then to the University
Holiday Inn parking area.

How long has it been since you had
this many cops behind you with the
lights and sirens going?  We had a
big-time police escort.

Bottom line...Joe Pruitt put on one heck of a Corvette show.
