2007 Bloomington Gold
St. Charles, Illinois
We
had our own club parking.
Not real sure about the spelling on
the sign, though.
The
'57's were honored. Here you see
(L to R) Verne Randolph, Bill and Debi
Stalder, and Jerry Little.

It
was old and new at the
For sale area.
A
little work needed on this one.
We
shared a booth in the indoors
(air conditioned) with the National
Corvette Homecoming. Here you see
Noland Adams signing an autograph
for Mike Bianco.
And
who do I run into?
Andy Bolig, Editor of Corvette Enthusiast
Magazine, and Mark Kaufman,
Publisher.
Getting
certified - Here's Paul Catinella
with his Harvest Gold '55.
Rich
Verba's Cascade Green '57 makes
the grade big-time.
Here's
the line-up for the awards.
'53
to '62 parts.
Mid
America's CEO and "Chief Cheerleader"
Mike Yager points out interior fabric examples. It was
10% discount and free shipping.
A
new top for this C-1.
I
caught up with Lance Miller and his
mom Judy. Get ready for Corvettes
at Carlisle.
Try
to look through this packed sea of
humanity, but there is a red '62 going to a new home for $34,000.
That's my partial look at Bloomington Gold, 2007. There was lots more going on, it is impossible to cover everything. Ken Amrick was on hand to cover things for our publication, On Solid Ground. He will have all the auction information. I enjoyed this year's Bloomington Gold. We went to a block party hosted by the Chicago Corvette Club. They had it at a good Bar-B-Que restaurant right downtown, and they had a Rolling Stones Tribute band to entertain the troops. I hope this will become an annual tradition. So mark you calendar for next year's Bloomington Gold.
