Here you see Bob Pinckney, Joe Calcagno,
and Karen Pinckney looking at Bob and Karen's

New York's very own Jerry
Vandernoot secured a new hardtop
for his ride.

generation event.

Corvette Plant Manager Wil Cooksey won the
Tire Smokin' contest.  The right rear tire may
have just had a little too much stress placed on
it, as you can see it shredded and damaged
the fender in the process.  But to make
lemonade out of a lemon, look at the next
picture for the end of the story.

Corvette Plant Manager Wil Cooksey auctions
a rear fender that was slightly customized during
the tire smokin' contest.  The money raised
went to charity.

Mid Atlantic Chapter invited all SACC members to a wonderful dinner at General Pickett's
Buffet in Gettysburg.

Here's some more of the happy,
contented diners.

And a bad storm that produced a tornado
that hit the fairgrounds shortened the road tour.

Max was a VIP judge.  Surprisingly he
chose this '58.  He explained that he
personally knows that it is difficult keeping
a car in show condition.  This owner did
just that.

So that's SACC president Max Brockhouse's pictorial run-down on the 2007 Corvettes at Carlisle.  SACC
had a primo parking area right near the entrance, across from the Subway restaurant that is on site.  Hmm, I am
wondering if that is strictly a coincidence.  Anyway, be thinking about attending the 2008 show if you couldn't make this one.
