WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE INFORMATION:

The Dream Cruise actually starts during the first week of August. Officially it is Friday night August 16, 2019, and all-day Saturday August, 2019.

Go on line to www.michiganchapterncrs.com and complete the Dream Cruise registration form using PayPal or a credit card. Attendance prices are $90 for one car and driver, $30 per a passenger or a walk in, children under 12 are admitted free.

·         LOT LOCATION:

It is located at 35046 Woodward Avenue on the North side of this median divided four lane in each direction thorofare a short distance north of 15 Mile (Maple) Road.  Google this address shows our secure private parking lot, its one main entrance and vehicle parking configurations, both in the lot and the spots located along Woodward Avenue, the large tree shaded area-northeast corner-for eating and relaxing away from the noise and fumes next to the visible tall large white colored water tower.

·         VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION:

You will be given a Corvette parking pass when you arrive for the National Event which is to be presented to the guard each time you enter the lot.

·         VEHICLE PARKING:

You are asked to follow the direction of the parking attendants and then park in a spot you choose. There are no reserve parking spots. If you leave the lot to drive in the Cruise, when you return you probably will not be able to park in the same spot you had previously. The lot holds 125 Corvettes when parked equally inside the noted lines so a door, at first detent, will not hit the vehicle next to it.

·         PARTICIPANT IDENTIFICATION: 

You will be given a specific colored wristband which must be worn on either wrist for access to breakfast, lunch, pop & water, Rest Room use, cruise viewing tents, etc. All participants are asked to wear this wrist band in plain sight.

·         EVENT VIEWING CHAIRS:

Bring a folding type chair for front row seating along Woodward Avenue to view one of the greatest moving car shows and for when you relax in the tree shaded area for eating, etc.

·         BREAKFAST AND LUNCH EATING AREA:

It is a tree shaded grass area located at the left rear (north east corner) of the lot under the visible tall white colored large water tower and several trees for shade. Some chairs and tables are provided. Recommended is that you schedule yourselves and friends to this area so all can enjoy it.

·         REST ROOMS-PORT-A-JOHNS & HAND WASH STATION:

There are two Johns for Men-labeled tailpipes-and two Johns for Woman-labeled mufflers-located along the north fence line. You are asked to help control that only wrist band wearing participants have access to them-look for their wrist band. 

·         BREAKFAST:

Chef Carl will have coffee, mimosas, lox and charcoal grilled heated bagels, donuts, water and pop starting at 8:00AM till 9:30AM. Each participant is asked to show their specific colored wrist band.

·         LUNCH:

Chef Call will fire up our charcoal grills with brats, chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers (limited cheese variation) and baked beans, pasta salad, coleslaw and cookies starting at 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM. Each participant is asked to show their specific colored wrist band.

·         POP & WATER:

Available all day at the eating area for participants wearing the specific colored wrist band.

·         TRASH CANS AND POP RECYCLING CANS:

Located around the area. Please place the correct item into the correct labeled container.
